TECH INNOVATION WITHIN HOTEL MANAGEMENT IN CARTAGENA DE INDIAS

 

Excellent reception yesterday by the hoteliers of Cartagena de Indias who filled the capacity during the working breakfast that we organized with our friends from Beonprice and Revenue Hotel Consultant.

The event took place at the Caribe by Faranda Grand Hotel in Cartagena de Indias and the speakers talked about the importance of technological innovation in hotel management.

Our Sales Manager in Colombia, Juliana Rincón, spoke about the current needs of the market and how to use the necessary tools to sale through the direct channel and optimize the profitability of their properties.

"The hotels now have technological tools at their disposal to compete with the OTAs," said Juliana. "They also already have the necessary know-how to focus their efforts on the direct channel."

Juliana spoke about the features of the different distribution channels and explained how to use these channels to take advantage of their businesses.

On the other hand, both Cristina Villegas, Country Manager of Beonprice in Colombia, and Vincent Das, CEO at Revenue Hotel Consultant, presented how to use the tools to optimize the hotels through a Revenue Management system and presented practical cases showing what decisions to make in different scenarios.
