About the opening, Rebeca González, Managing Director of Roiback, highlighted: “This new office will allow us to be physically present in a very important area for our business and offer our customers a much closer and personalized service. Since our inception, we have had several clients in the region, and we currently offer technological solutions to more than 70 hotels, including Satocan Group, Lopesan Hotel Group, Golf Resort Group, Kn Hotels & Resorts, Hoteles López, XQ Hotels, My Way Hotels & Resorts, Coral Hotels or Luis Hoteles. Our office will offer service to all the islands of the territory.”
The office will consist of a new team with the key recruitment of Eduardo Gómez de la Mata, as Regional Manager, who will be in charge, together with his team, to expand the portfolio of hotels that have Roiback solutions, as well as to advise and help grow their profits through the direct channel. Gómez de la Mata, formerly head of E-Commerce at the Canarian hotel chain Lopesan Hotel Group, has extensive experience in the tourism and E-Commerce sector and also teaches the subject matter in several tourist centers and schools in the region.
“The opportunity to be part of a team so dynamic as Roiback is unique. I have been able to verify, working in Lopesan Hotel Group, one of its clients, that the service it provides is excellent, in addition to having also experienced a notable increase in the web conversion rate since its implementation. Roiback's native status as a booking engine, as well as the focus on direct sales through its tools in Marketing, Loyalty, B2B, etc., make the company the perfect ecosystem to continue developing as a professional and contribute to the hotel sector my knowledge in this area. I think that, working in a leading company in its sector with a continuous growth, many possibilities will open both personally and professionally. It will be quite an experience to be part of this company directly and I am looking forward to continuing to increase our presence in the Islands,” said Gomez de la Mata.
Another new recruitment to the Canary Islands team is Francisco Santana, who joins the staff as Direct Channel Specialist, with functions such as sales supervision, objectives and quality of service agreed with the client or marketing actions development. Santana has a master’s in digital marketing and has worked in the tourism sector with companies such as The Ritz-Carlton.
