Half Year Review Meeting in Bangkok

Our Managing Director, Rebeca González, together with the Head of Finance and Strategy, Pedro Moner, and Ana Martín, DCS Development Manager, were in Bangkok to visit the Roiback team in Asia and to celebrate the Half Year Review Meeting (HRM).

The team was informed about the achievements of Roiback during this year and was encouraged to continue working as they have done until now. In recent years, we have grown exponentially in Asia, and we already have offices in Bangkok, Bali and Singapore.

During her speech, Rebeca listed some of Roiback's milestones during this exercise as having managed to create Europe's first accessible booking engine, our pioneering direct integration with 'Book on Google' or achieving the award for the best provider of solutions for hotel bookings at the World Travel Awards.

Rebeca once again highlighted the importance of mobile channel globally and especially in Asia, where 72% of the traffic from our collaborating hotels come through the mobile device. She also stressed the importance of adapting to the needs of our customers in Asia, "as it is a market that is growing so fast and we must always be one step ahead."

After the work session, there was also time to enjoy the attractions offered in the city, and they visited different temples and tasted the local gastronomy of the Thai capital.
