Everything is ready for HDL Cancun 2019

We are already finalizing preparations for the Hotel Distribution Live Cancun 2019 event that we will celebrate next week (Thursday, July 11) at the spectacular Hotel The Pyramid at Grand Oasis.

During HDL'19 Cancun, we will talk about the challenges of hotel distribution and the attendees will be able to discover how to turn these challenges into opportunities. Experts and business directors of Roiback, Google and major hotel chains and companies in the industry, will share their knowledge of the present and future of the direct channel in the tourism sector.

At 6PM, the first presentation will begin with Fernando Cotera, Strategic Partner Manager of Google. Fernando will talk about the changes in the ecosystem of the sector and what we need to know to face them. On the other hand, our Head of Global Sales, Toni Omañas, will talk among other things about the importance of being technologically prepared during his presentation, "Innovation, a competitive need".

After the presentations, the Expert Panel will take place. It will be moderated by María Baez, Head of Sales LATAM Roiback. Under the title: "Solutions to Chaos in Online Distribution", the four industry experts will discuss and exchange views on the current situation in the world of online distribution. Some of the topics to be covered will be: Is it possible to control the distribution channels? How can I control the sale price of OTAs? How profitable are meta-searchers? Is everyone in the hotel distribution who they claim to be? Who's misleading me or hiding some of the truth? How is my FIT or tour operator rate being used?    

The event will end with an after-show party so that guests can enjoy succulent canapés and cocktails listening to live music. This will be a perfect opportunity to do some networking on the terrace in front of the sea.

There are still a few invitations available to attend the event and we hope that, this time in Mexico, HDL will have the same success or even more than the one we organized in its previous edition held in Madrid, during the most important tourist trade show in Spain (Fitur).
