Roiback, specialist and leader in the management of the direct channel of hotel sales, has announced the launch of ePayments Manager, an innovative system that allows hoteliers to split collections and offer new payment methods much more flexible to their customers, a solution as necessary as requested by consumers in the current circumstances. This will transform direct sales and help the recovery of the hotel sector, as the efficiency of the process is improved and saves hoteliers time and effort.
Hotels that collaborate with Roiback will be able to define not only the amount that will be charged at the time of booking or the next day, but also what other amounts and on which dates before arrival will be charged. This will help improve hotel’s cashflow by having money in advance of non-refundable and semi-flexible bookings.
Helps increase conversion
This tool helps increase the conversion rate of prepaid bookings, offering a flexible payment method and guaranteeing the collection of an amount at the time of booking. In addition, it allows you to unlink the time of booking from the time of collection, increasing the conversion rate by reducing friction and not requiring online collection.
Reduces fraud risk
ePayments Manager helps reduce the risk of fraud considerably. The customer's credit card is validated at the time of booking and customer authentication and pre-authorization are performed. This process will be mandatory when the PSD2 regulations are applied. If the card appears as "denied" at the time of collection, ePayments Manager allows you to easily replace the card with another one by sending from the system an email with a "payment link", which replaces the card to which the outstanding charges for that reservation will be sent.
Complies with European PSD2 regulations
Integrated into Roiback CRS, ePayments Manager can manage reservations with all credit and debit cards, is connected to payment service providers worldwide, and complies with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) credit card data security regulations and the PSD2 (Payment Service Providers 2) payment service policy.
Improves hotel operational areas
Finally, the operational areas of the hotel are streamlined exponentially, making management more flexible in the transactions of collections and returns from Roiback’s CRS. ePayments Manager can be used in manual monitoring mode or automated, so that all charges are released on the scheduled date (pay days), thus speeding up collection management.
It is also designed to relaunch any failed charges, claim a charge to the customer in the event of a rejection, charge an amount that the customer did not pay at the hotel or charge a no-show. It also allows to make any return to the customer's card, without having to see at any time the user's credit card details.
“Some of Roiback's most important customers have already had the opportunity to use this solution since the beginning of this year with very satisfactory results. At such uncertain times when we find ourselves in, it is important to be flexible with customers' payment terms, but it is also important to do it in a safely and automatically form; ePayments Manager allows to do this by managing to increase revenue and optimize the processes of direct sales,” said Rebeca González, Managing Director of Roiback.
