Collaboration workshop between Roiback and Sojern in Lombok

Our Senior Business Development Manager in APAC, Fandy Gunawan, was recently in the Indonesian island of Lombok conducting a workshop that we hosted together with our partner Sojern. A group of 24 hoteliers and industry experts from 20 properties around the region got to know more about the direct booking tools available in the market in order to boost sales through the direct channel.

Fandy spoke about the best practices to shift bookings from other channels to their official websites. He also gave interesting tips and different strategies to increase direct bookings and mentioned the main features a booking engine needs to have to get good results and benefits for the hotels.

“I have received a very positive feedback from hoteliers in Lombok and they have transmitted their commitment towards the direct channel and willingness to increase direct bookings,” said Fandy. “They have understood the importance of the direct channel and the potential and great possibilities it has.”
